About

I am a linguist at Tel Aviv University. I study language from cognitive and functional approaches. My aim is to make intelligible the complexity and emergence of linguistic phenomena by employing both diachronic and synchronic perspectives. Currently I am focusing on my master’s thesis, supervised by Prof. Mira Ariel, in which I analyse modal and aspectual constructions with the existential verb haya ‘was’. In September 2018 I will begin my PhD at the University of Oregon.
